Property & Grounds
Antico Borgo Petralia is an ancient hamlet that opened to the public in 2011, set on the edge of Mount Etna Regional Park. The property has an impressive stone façade with lots of original features, a pretty courtyard, and a garden. A seasonal outdoor swimming pool with views of the sea and Mount Etna is surrounded by sun loungers and a large patio area.
Rooms
Each of the 18 rooms has tiled floors, air conditioning, and a flat-screen TV with free Sky channels. Some rooms have sloped wood-beamed ceilings, and some offer a balcony with views of Mount Etna or the Mediterranean Sea. All rooms provide free Wi-Fi access and a private bathroom.
Dining
A buffet breakfast is served each morning, featuring homemade cakes and jams prepared by the owner's mother. The on-site restaurant serves home-cooked Sicilian dinners, and a cookery course is available for guests. Snacks and drinks are available from the bar, with special diet menus on request.

Free parking is provided on site, and an airport shuttle service is available to the north slopes of Mount Etna and the nearest beach, which is 12 km away.
